Reverend Pinkney Turns the Water Back On

Reverend Pinkney Turns
the Water Back On

Regarding the recent water shut-offs as well as the necessity of charity, Pinkney recently played a speech from Martin Luther King on his radio show:

There are 40 million poor people here. One day we must ask the question "Why are there 40 million poor people in America?" ...We are called upon to help the discouraged beggars in life's market place. ...Why is it that people have to pay water bills in a world that's 2/3rds water?

Reverend Pinkney is a regular guest on World Crisis Radio with Webster Tarpley. In an interview from July 26th Pinkney defiantly recalled his participation in the protests against the water shut-offs in Detroit,

Once they cut the water off, your house is considered "condemmed." Also, if you have children in the house DHS is called in to take your children from you. It started here in Benton Harbor...everything that happens here, it eventually gets to Detroit. We wouldn't let them cut off the water. When they cut it off, we cut it back on!...and it takes them almost a month to realize that you turned your water back on!
